Ohhhh boy. This song was originally planned for a solo album of mine that never happened. It has been at least 10 years or more since these songs originally came about. This Guitar Pro file was in the same folder as “Immortalize,” which wound up on the debut Wide Eyes album “Volume.” Also in this folder were the seeds that grew into “The Motions,” “Dreaming Inside Of A Locked Room,” and “To Dissociate & Deceive.” It felt cathartic to bring these songs to fruition. They meant something to me back in the day and it felt great to bring them into the light. This song is melodic, groovy, and has a hint of technicality to it that makes for a unique feel. Impact Studios crushed it with their Nuclear Bass library, showcased by the low Eb in the last section of the song. BEEF.
Fun fact: the drum part from the original tab of this song was copied and pasted into the song “Genie” by Wide Eyes and ended up on the final album. I slightly adjusted some spots to embellish a few things, but you can still hear the basic groove that ended up on Volume.

This is 1 of the best instrumental albums I've heard, EVER. Top 3: this Wide Eyes, Andromida (Timeless), & The Algorithm (Compiler Optimization Techniques). thevossman
