This song was a fun little experiment that ended up paying off in the end. Written almost entirely in piano roll (like 75%+ of the album), I wasn’t thinking about playability or how it made sense on a fretboard. I only thought about how dirty some of the parts were and how the many gallops made me picture the four horseman of the apocalypse ushering in the end of everything. I just tried to write parts that were sickkkk and evoked a feeling of impending destruction. Like many of the others, this song utilized some parts that were written for past projects of mine that never took off, so it felt pretty good to get these riffs out there. These tunes continue the legend of the drummer’s never-ending supply of energy. There’s a little (obvious) nod to “The Wanderer” from the Carcosa EP in the transition section before the outro.

This is 1 of the best instrumental albums I've heard, EVER. Top 3: this Wide Eyes, Andromida (Timeless), & The Algorithm (Compiler Optimization Techniques). thevossman
