This was one of the last songs written for this release. I wasn’t sure how long this album was going to be, but at some point, I decided to stop caring. I went into a Guitar Pro vault and found some riffs that worked together and went to town. The ending of this song ended up being a theme that recurs during the interlude on the album. This one is a primarily rock-driven groovy and moody track that felt at home with the other songs on the album. There’s 1-2 easter eggs in this song that reference to the Wide Eyes album “Oneironaut.”
