This song was written near the end of the writing sessions. The tuning is a variation of the tuning used on Periphery’s “Racecar.” This tuning makes it possible to do some interesting shapes and melodic chords that wouldn’t be as easy to play in a more normalized tuning. Since the tuning is down a step and a half from the Racecar tuning, it is technically what was used by the band Structures: Drop Bb on a 6 with a low G on the 7. This tuning is super fun and led to a writing session that felt very natural. This one goes a multitude of places and felt like a logical choice to kick off the album.

This is 1 of the best instrumental albums I've heard, EVER. Top 3: this Wide Eyes, Andromida (Timeless), & The Algorithm (Compiler Optimization Techniques). thevossman
